Encouraging girls to discover their strengths and know their true worth.
Volunteer Opportunities
We’re so thankful for our amazing team of volunteers!
We are always looking for more people to get involved in our projects, from schools work to girls groups and also helping behind the scenes.
We really appreciate the incredible skills, knowledge and lived experience of our volunteers. Representing a diverse range of communities and ranging in age from 18 to 70+ they bring so much to our organisation and we simply couldn’t operate without them.
If you’re interested in becoming part of the Rubies volunteer team, please contact us for more information. All volunteers are required to provide references, undergo an Enhanced DBS check and complete safeguarding training before they start working in our projects. *
You can download a copy of our application form and more details about the process of applying here:
Students at Teesside University can also apply through Volun-tees
Some feedback from our volunteers
*We are looking for female volunteers only for work directly with girls. This is for a genuine occupational reason as set out in Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010
